The Harvard University Faculty of Medicine is comprised of Harvard Medical School and the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. The Committee on Human Studies (CHS) reviews approximately 475 protocols per year for faculty and students. The CHS reviews mainly social and behavioral research, and a small number of clinical studies.
